Rose is a mutant. She's created in a lab, so she isn't a real "human". That's the reason why she doesn't grow older. She'll be a 16 years old teen forever. Rose's task was to generate energy. "Rose's energy hasn't got any negative influences on the environment, that's why we created her," said the scientists. She has the power to make lightning, energy and she sometimes plays for lightning rod. It wasn't Rose's intention to join WonderNerd's team. It was pure coincidence! (see the comic "WonderNerd's New Helper")

So Rose became a member of WonderNerd's team by chance. Rose is usually the one who really fights against Evil, because she's really powerful! Rose became very good friends with Evie, but it took a while before she really started to like WonderNerd. He is like the exact opposite of Rose!
